On April 21, 2026, Mr. Tobias Orischnig, Program Manager for Armenia, Georgia and Moldova of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), visited the RA MoE "Centre for Agricultural Services " SNCO, where he was presented with the implementation process of the Animal Identification and Registration (AIR) project, the results achieved, the current challenges and the work being carried out to further improve the system.
During the visit, the AIR's "ANI PASS" electronic system, its main components, functions, and working principles were also presented, emphasizing the important role of the system in the process of animal identification, registration, and effective data management.
In order to get acquainted with the practical application of the system on site, a visit was also organized on April 22, 2026 to the farm of Kruglaya Shishka community of Lori region. During the visit, the epidemiologist serving the area and the veterinarian serving the farm presented the process of identification and registering animals, the procedures for collecting animal data, registering them in the registers, and their subsequent entry into the "ANI PAS" electronic system.
The visit provided an opportunity to practically present the main components of the AIR system, the effectiveness of the use of digitalization solutions, and their importance in improving the quality and efficiency of animal registration, traceability, and veterinary services.
