On July 14, 2026, a preparatory working discussion was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, headed by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Mrs. Tatevik Sargsyan, ahead of the upcoming session of the Animal Identification and Registration (AIR) Working Group, with the participation of IT specialists. Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the “Center for Agricultural Services” SNCO, the “Ani Pas” system, and the CARD Foundation also participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the proposed changes aimed at improving the digitalization of the AIR system, their technical feasibility and practical application possibilities. Issues arising during the operation of the system were also addressed, with the aim of developing effective solutions and increasing the convenience and efficiency of using the system for different users.
The discussion included a detailed assessment of the technical features of the proposed changes, the possibilities of their implementation, as well as the additional steps that would be necessary for their successful implementation in the system.
The recommendations and agreements reached as a result of the meeting will be presented and discussed at the upcoming meeting of the AIR working group, with the aim of effectively organizing the further development, improvement, and digitalization processes of the system.
